The Autumn Of My Springtime - Puppetry Theatre Show
"The Autumn Of My Springtime" is a captivating puppetry theatre performance premiering in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, now staged at Gabriadze Theatre. The story centers on Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, living in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unintentionally, Boria turns to thievery, falls in love with the beautiful Ninel, and embarks on many thrilling and dangerous adventures. This enchanting production combines masterful puppetry with Georgian folk songs, dance, and heartfelt memories of the author. The performance lasts 90 minutes. Note that children under 12 are not admitted, and punctuality is required as latecomers will not be allowed entry once the show begins. Ticket holders can enjoy the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby starting at 18:00 before the show.
