The Autumn Of My Springtime
"The Autumn Of My Springtime" tells the enchanting story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, set in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unintentionally, Boria turns to thievery, falls in love with the beautiful Ninel, and embarks on many thrilling adventures. This 90-minute performance combines masterful puppetry, traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and heartfelt memories, creating a magical theatrical experience. Premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, it is presented at the Gabriadze Theatre. Children under 12 are not admitted. The theatre bar "Ar Idardo" opens at 18:00 for ticket holders before the show. Latecomers will not be admitted to preserve the intimate atmosphere.
