The Autumn Of My Springtime - Puppet Theatre Performance
The Autumn Of My Springtime is a captivating puppet theatre performance that tells the story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, set in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unintentionally becoming a thief, he falls in love with the beautiful Ninel and embarks on many thrilling and dangerous adventures. This enchanting production blends masterful puppetry with Georgian folk songs, dance, and heartfelt memories from the author. The show runs for 90 minutes and premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Audience members are invited to relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby before the performance, open exclusively for ticket holders from 18:00. Please note, children under 12 are not admitted, and punctuality is required as latecomers will not be admitted to preserve the intimate and magical atmosphere of the theatre.
