Mother: Zeller’s Trilogy Finale

“Mother” completes Florian Zeller’s acclaimed trilogy, brought to Georgia by GIENOS Independent Theater Company. Directed by Davit Chkhartishvili, translated by Nana Samchkuashvili, with set and costumes by Davit Chkhartishvili and Tamuna Lomsadze, and music composed by Meri Beroshvili. The cast features Anna Matuashvili as Mother, Giorgi Tsertsvadze as Father, Dachi Babunashvili as Nikola, and Keti Luarsabishbili as Gogo. Supported by Tbilisi City Hall and Marjanishvili Theater, this 90-minute play is suitable for audiences aged 15 and up. For the first time in Georgia, Zeller’s trilogy is staged by one director. “Mother” explores the deep sacrifices a woman makes for her family, the boundaries of selflessness, and the challenges faced by mothers everywhere.
