Experience William Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy “King Lear” at Tumanishvili Theatre in Tbilisi, under the direction of Zura Getsadze. The play is presented in Georgian with a translation by Manana Antadze and features set design by Shota Glurjidze and music by Erekle Getsadze. The talented cast includes Zura Kipshidze, Akaki Khidasheli/Zurab Getsadze, Nanuka Litanishvili, Maia Gelovani, Kato Kalatozishvili/Keta Shatirishvili, Paata Inauri, Giorgi Kipshidze, Beka Jumutia, Temo Natroshvili, Nika Tserediani, Vano Tarkhnishvili, Jeji Skhirtladze/Anri Bibineishvili, Guga Kakhiani, Gagi Shengelia, Erekle Getsadze/Giorgi Chachanidze, Irakli Kereselidze/Nika Nikuradze. Assistant director: Sopho Orjonikidze. The show lasts 180 minutes and is recommended for audiences 16 and older. Performances are on February 24, 26, March 11, and March 25.
