The Tale of the Roe

dom., mar. 22 · 12:00 Youth Theatre

Experience 'The Tale of the Roe', an enchanting puppet performance at Youth Theatre on March 22, 2026. Inspired by Vazha-Pshavela's timeless story, this show brings to life the journey of a young deer in the lush mountains and forests of Georgia. Alongside his mother, the little roe explores the wonders of nature—encountering animals, birds, babbling streams, and ancient trees. A joyful discovery of the world quickly becomes a lesson about freedom, compassion, and the threats posed by humans. When a hunter brings tragedy, young audiences are encouraged to reflect on our responsibility towards nature. Directed by Nikoloz Sabashvili, this 45-minute performance features original music, vibrant dances, and a talented cast including Goga Beridze, Irine Kukuladze, and others. Enjoy an immersive experience filled with Georgian melodies and lively puppetry that will captivate both children and adults.
