Levil's Mother
Set in 1920s France, "Levil's Mother" tells the tale of Georgian exiles who built a new life near Paris. The play focuses on Nametia Berdzenishvili and her husband Valodia Goguadze, a companion of Kakutsa Cholokashvili, as they establish an estate that becomes a symbol of hope and longing for their homeland. Through powerful storytelling and evocative performances by Ketevan Kitiashvili, Nino Andriadze, Vakhtang Chachanidze, Rati Goguadze, Lasha Grdzelidze, Nia Togonidze, and Elene Darchia, the production explores themes of displacement, love, and perseverance. Directed by Rusudan Kobiashvili, written and staged by Nana Kakabadze, with compositions by Zaza Marjanishvili and choreography from Gia Margania. Performance duration: 1 hour 20 minutes. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Premiere: March 18, 2026, 19:00 at the Youth Theatre.
