Valerian Shiukashvili: Generation

On March 9, 2026, the Tbilisi State Conservatoire’s Grand Hall will host the debut of Valerian Shiukashvili’s new project. The evening begins with 12 exceptional young Georgian pianists performing Tchaikovsky’s “The Seasons.” In the second half, renowned pianist Valerian Shiukashvili takes the stage solo to present Mussorgsky’s iconic “Pictures at an Exhibition.” The event aims to give Georgia’s promising musicians valuable experience in front of a large audience. Shiukashvili, well known for his significant role in the country’s classical music scene and founder of numerous competitions and festivals, continues to foster young talent with this series. Supported by Tbilisi City Hall, the concert starts at 8:00 PM. Admission is for ages 10 and above.
