I Haven't Gone Anywhere
'I Haven't Gone Anywhere' is a play by Salome Kapanadze, directed by Ekaterine Kato Sharikadze, performed at Sokhumi State Drama Theatre. The story follows a girl displaced from Abkhazia at age 4 who returns to her native Sukhumi as an adult. There, she meets an Abkhazian tour guide and tries to convince him that Georgians and Abkhazians share the same blood, history, and land, emphasizing unity rather than enmity. Based on a true story, the play delves into genetic memory and tradition, portraying Abkhazia through personal and collective narratives.
