Vera District Melodies

Experience the premiere of “Melodies of the Vera District” at the Sokhumi State Drama Theatre—a fresh stage adaptation of a legendary Georgian film. Relive the charm of Tbilisi’s courtyards, told through engaging stories of love, friendship, humor, and warmth. The production is directed and scripted by Aleksandre Eloshvili, co-directed by Ekaterine Kato Sharikadze, with stage design by Nino Surguladze. Music direction is by Mikheil Mdinaradze, choral direction by Alexandra Lortkipanidze, and choreography by Giorgi Margania. Featuring Ekaterine Kato Sharikadze, Leonid Gulua, Adelina Goguadze, Nino Mumladze, Giorgi Gagloev, Shalva Antelava, Irakli Managadze, Nino Javakhishvili, Ana Sokhadze, Mariam Kalatozishvili, Nino Chaduneli, Ani Aminashvili, Giorgi Tsertsvadze, Giga Jishkariani, Mariam Kobakhidze, and Jaba Jokhadze.
