Misia Zurek Solo Dance Performance
"Clay" is a poetic and sensuous contemporary dance solo performed by Misia Żurek and choreographed by Monika Błaszczak. The piece explores the transformative power of love during crisis, using the body and clay as metaphors for memory and change. It highlights our deep, material connection to the Earth and celebrates life even amid ruins. Set to a soundscape from Antonina Nowacka's album "Lamunan" and featuring extravagant costume and set design by Marta Szypulska, this performance premiered in Venice and marks the first production of Monika's Dance World company. Presented at Movement Theatre, it offers an artistic, immersive experience blending dance, music, and visual art.
