⛩️ For Those fascinated by and interested in the philosophy of the Far East, who have already visited, are planning, or are thinking about traveling to Japan — the “Land of the Rising Sun” — are invited to join us on Sunday, July 2, at 7:00 PM Together with Archil Kikodze, “Traveller” presents: “A Journey Through Time and Space — A Bridge Between Japan and the Rest of the World.” The gathering will take place at Alexandre Meskhi’s Bonsai Space, where Nikoloz Meskhi will speak about “the art of shaping so-called dwarf trees,” while Archil Kikodze will share impressions and observations from Traveller’s Japan tour last year, expectations for the upcoming journey, and reflections on the philosophy of Japanese life. Archil Kikodze:“Until I see a place with my own eyes, it feels as if that place does not truly exist, despite all the evidence of its existence. That is why I am happy that Japan now exists for me — and so does its vast and dizzying capital, Tokyo, which never stops, never disappears, never slows down, day or night… In Japan, nothing is ordinary. This phrase stayed with me all the way to the airport. I still feel the same way, and that is why I believe this country is worth seeing — and returning to.” Time: 7:00 PM Maximum number of participants: 35 people Recommended age: 14+ Price: 75 GEL Event Schedule 19.00 – Gathering at 118 Akaki Tsereteli Avenue, Expo Georgia grounds (between Pavilions III and IV) 19.10- Alexandre and Nikoloz Meskhi — “The Art of Bonsai” — will speak about the formation of miniature centuries-old forests shaped over great spans of time, and the philosophy of patience and anticipation embodied in dwarf trees. 20.10 - Together with Archil Kikodze, before departing on the November 8–19, 2026 tour to Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka, we will virtually travel through Japan 🎎🎏 through conversations about literature, culture, and traditions.
