The Autumn Of My Springtime
"The Autumn Of My Springtime" tells the story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, living in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of grandmother Domna. Unintentionally becoming a thief, falling in love with Ninel, and embarking on many thrilling adventures, Boria's journey explores dreams, despair, anger, and joy. The performance is a captivating blend of masterful puppetry, traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and cherished memories of the author. Premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, the show lasts 90 minutes. Before the performance, ticket holders can relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby, opening at 18:00. Note: Children under 12 are not admitted, and latecomers will not be admitted after the show begins to maintain the intimate atmosphere of the Gabriadze Theatre.
