The Autumn of My Springtime

Tue, Jun 30 · 19:00 Gabriadze Theatre

"The Autumn of My Springtime" tells the enchanting story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, set in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. After the organ-grinder Varlam passes away, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unintentionally, Boria turns to thievery, falls in love with the beautiful Ninel, and embarks on many thrilling and dangerous adventures. This performance is a magical blend of expert puppetry, traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and cherished memories of the author. Premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, the show runs for 90 minutes. Children under 12 are not admitted. The Gabriadze Theatre invites ticket holders to relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby from 18:00 before the 19:00 show. Latecomers will not be admitted to preserve the intimate atmosphere.
