The Autumn of My Springtime
"The Autumn of My Springtime" tells the touching story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, set in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. When the organ-grinder Varlam passes away, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unwittingly drawn into a life of thievery, Boria falls in love with the beautiful Ninel and embarks on thrilling and perilous adventures. This performance is a captivating blend of expert puppetry, traditional Georgian folk songs, dance, and cherished memories from the author's life. Premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, the show runs for 90 minutes. Children under 12 are not admitted. The intimate theatre requests punctuality to maintain the magical atmosphere. Before the show, ticket holders can relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the theatre lobby, opening at 18:00. Performances take place at Gabriadze Theatre from June 2 to June 30, 2026.
