The Autumn Of My Springtime - Puppet Theatre Performance

The Autumn Of My Springtime is a captivating puppet theatre performance that tells the story of Boria Gadai, a small bird with a big heart, set in Kutaisi, Georgia, after World War II. Following the death of Varlam, the organ-grinder, Boria becomes the sole caretaker of the elderly grandmother Domna. Unwittingly drawn into a life of thievery, Boria falls in love with the beautiful Ninel and faces many dangerous and exciting adventures. This enchanting production blends masterful puppetry with traditional Georgian folk songs and dance, evoking dreams, despair, anger, and joy. Premiered in 2002 in Lausanne, Switzerland, the show runs for 90 minutes. The theatre invites ticket holders to relax at the "Ar Idardo" bar in the lobby from 18:00 before the performance. Please note, children under 12 are not admitted, and punctuality is required to maintain the intimate and magical atmosphere of the Gabriadze Theatre.
