‘Sim Sim, Open!’ is an original production directed by Manana Surmava and inspired by writings of Manana Dumbadze. The play weaves together 14 real-life stories from 1990s Georgia, blending poignant memories with the warmth of Georgian humor. Featuring actors Manana Surmava, Maia Lomidze, Mamuka Pavliashvili, Baia Jakobia, Mariam Gogitidze, and Mariam Tsintsadze. Set design by Archil Vepkhvadze and music by Viseli Chechelashvili, with photography by Giorgi Khaindrava. Premieres at S. Mrevlishvili Tbilisi Drama Theatre on May 30 and June 20, 2026, at 8 PM. Suitable for ages 14 and up. Late arrivals are not admitted.
