Marina Revia
At Liberty Theater, "Marina Revia" brings to stage the heartfelt journey of a mother returning to her family after two decades behind bars. Written by Alex Chigvinadze and directed by Luka Intskirveli, the play examines the painful silences and unresolved issues within families. The cast features Maia Khornauli, Salome Esadze, Giorgi Chachua, Liza Rukhadze, and Guga Katsarava, with art by Teo Kukhianidze and music by Giorgi Jikia. Manana Menabdi's piece "The Nightingale Whispers" is also featured. The story asks if it’s possible to reconnect when the truth has long been hidden. Touching on deeply relevant problems for Georgian society, it confronts the consequences of concealing the truth to protect family reputation and how silence can isolate us from those we love. Performances are scheduled for May 19 & 20 and June 18, 2026, at Liberty Theater. One act; suitable for general audiences.
