The Roe’s Journey

Sat, May 30 · 12:00 Youth Theatre

Inspired by renowned Georgian writer Vazha-Pshavela, this enchanting puppet performance follows a young roe deer and his mother, as they explore Georgia’s majestic woods and wild harmony. Their encounters with the forest’s creatures, blooming flowers, and rushing streams celebrate nature’s wonder, but a tragic twist comes when a hunter appears, leaving the fawn alone and vulnerable. The story highlights humans’ impact on nature, inviting children and adults to reflect on empathy, responsibility, and our choices. Enhanced by traditional Georgian music and dance, the show offers a magical experience for families. Directed and musically led by Nikoloz Sabashvili, featuring Goga Beridze, Irine Kukuladze, Natia Kupatadze, Levan Katsiashvili, and more. Duration: 45 minutes. Join performances at Youth Theatre on May 10, 23, and 30.
