Non Local Locals
Set on the outskirts of Hamburg, 'Non Local Locals' follows four strangers from Georgia forced to share one small room in a refugee facility while awaiting the right to live and work in Germany. Through daily challenges, culture shock, and language mishaps, their unique personalities and backgrounds collide. Together, they navigate nostalgia, homesickness, strict housing rules, and dreams of opportunity. Their journey is filled with humor, optimism, and the quirks of adapting to a foreign land. Written by Nika Ramishvili, directed and performed by Paata Guliashvili, this play offers insight into the Georgian spirit and resilience.
