Marshal de Fantié's Diamond
Set in 19th-century Tbilisi, 'Marshal de Fantié's Diamond' begins at Keto and Kote's wedding, interrupted by shocking news from France: impoverished General Vano Phantiashvili is named heir to the world's largest diamond. This sparks a whirlwind journey for the flamboyant Prince and his diverse companions—a proletarian, a financier, a machinist, and the iconic matchmaker Khanuma—to Paris, where intrigue and surprises await. Will General Phantiashvili be swayed by fortune, or will his values lead him elsewhere? Full of humor, adventure, and Georgian cultural flair, the performance lasts 75 minutes and is staged at Gabriadze Theatre on June 12, 13, 19, 20, 28, and 30. Pre-show refreshments are available at the 'Ar Idardo' bar from 18:00. Admission for ages 12 and up only; doors close at showtime for an immersive theatrical experience.
