The Ideal Family

Join Iliauni Theatre for an insightful one-act comedy inspired by Václav Havel’s play, delving into the pursuit of the ‘ideal’ family and the pressure to appear perfect in others’ eyes. Under David Tchakhrakia's direction, the show humorously questions social expectations and the constant need to compare ourselves to others. Maya Nachkebia provides the translation, with stage and costume design by Giorgi Ustiashvili and technical direction from Elene Gabisonia. The cast features Ruska Makashvili (Rustaveli National Theatre), Giorgi Goguadze, and Paata Papuashvili. The performance lasts 80 minutes, no intermission. Premiered March 30, 2019.
