About the play: Based on the play by Claude Magnier A co-production of the Nodar Dumbadze Tbilisi Young Spectator Theater and the Shota Rustaveli Theater and Film State University. The play “Blaise”, recognized as a classic of French comedy, offers the audience a story full of joy, irony and unexpected comic situations. At the center of the plot is a young man named Blaise, whose seemingly harmless decisions lead to a chain of events intertwined with each other, and these misunderstandings turn into a real comic chaos. The fast pace, lively dialogues and sophisticated French humor characteristic of Claude Magnier’s play create a light, dynamic and energetic atmosphere on stage. The characters constantly hide the truth, try to protect their own interests and along the way find themselves in many absurd and amusing situations.
