Oxymoron

“Oxymoron” at the Movement Theatre The performance is presented in a silent disco format — the audience receives headphones, and each scene unfolds directly through them. The actors bring various “oxymoronic” situations to life using the language of choreography and physical theatre, reflecting our everyday reality. This is a disco that is silent — and that is precisely why it is an oxymoron. The performance breaks traditional theatrical form and is presented in a Happening style. The audience is free to move around the space, follow the rhythm, become part of the action, or even leave the hall with the headphones and return again. An oxymoron is a combination of contradictory terms that reflects the paradoxes of our daily lives — a small crowd, quiet chaos, a fast queue, and so on. The performance brings these contradictions to life in a wordless, allegorical form.
