Don't Leave the Room Anymore

[Political Farce in five episodes] *With English subtitles Don’t leave the room! This filth feeds you, doesn’t it?! Especially when beyond us there is neither Europe nor Asia - only hopelessness, because neo-feudal capitalism turns young people into slaves; because the only path left is self-employment, and even that exists only outside the country; because salaries will no longer exceed twenty lari; because hunger is real, education is a privilege, and self-expression is labeled “propaganda.”Artists are not dying of cultural hunger, they are dying of hunger for bread. So you, don’t leave the room, until you act! The performance is based on real events and is interactive, provocative, and ironic. It tells the tragic stories of five people with different professions, backgrounds, and life experiences, and reflects on Georgia’s social, cultural, and economic realities from the perspective of young people. The performance reveals individual madness and collective courage, and seeks to explore what remains of the ideals of independence today, and what generates the human resistance that, despite everything, still drives us to act and brings us out of our rooms.
