Alfred and Violetta

Tue, Mar 10 · 19:00 Gabriadze Theatre

Step into the world of 'Alfred and Violetta' at Gabriadze Theatre, where the classic love story inspired by Dumas’ novel and Verdi’s opera returns in a bold, reimagined form. Brought back to life by Rezo Gabriadze and newly staged by artistic director Leo Gabriadze, the play moves between Tbilisi’s Mtatsminda and iconic European cities, framed by the turbulent 1990s. Alfred and Violetta face obstacles that test the depths of their devotion. The show runs from February 26 to March 31 and lasts 75 minutes. Entry is restricted to ages 12 and up. Guests are invited to relax at the 'Ar Idardo' bar in the theatre lobby from 6:00 p.m. for ticket holders, and from 8:30 p.m. for all. Please note: latecomers will not be admitted to preserve the immersive magic of this intimate production. Experience a modern Georgian reimagining of a timeless romantic masterpiece.
