Autumn of My Springtime

Step into Gabriadze Theatre for a heartfelt puppet tale set in postwar Kutaisi, Georgia. Meet Boria Gadai, a little bird with a courageous spirit. The story begins with the death of organ-grinder Varlam, leaving Boria to care for elderly Domna. Boria’s life soon becomes a whirlwind of adventure, unexpected romance with Ninel, and the challenge of surviving on his own. Laced with Georgian folk songs, dance, and nostalgia, the show captures the dreams and emotions of a young soul finding his way. This performance premiered in Lausanne in 2002 and has enchanted audiences ever since. Duration: 90 minutes. The theatre’s bar opens at 6:00 p.m. for ticket holders, and from 8:30 p.m. for all guests. Audience members under 12 are not admitted, and latecomers will not be allowed entry.
