The Four Seasons

Fri, Apr 24 · 15:00 Rustaveli National Theatre - Small Stage

Experience the State Hand Shadow Theatre’s enchanting show “The Four Seasons” on the Small Stage of the Rustaveli National Theatre. Directed by Gela Kandelaki, this 55-minute performance brings to life the story of a little bear cub and its imaginative adventures across spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Kids will see themselves in the playful main character, while adults are invited to recall the wonders of childhood. Composer Teimuraz Bakuradze’s music sets the scene, with sound by Eka Kvaliashvili, Malkhaz Kukhianidze, and Vakhtang Komakhidze. Singers include Kakhi Kavsadze, Kote, Nino, and Tamar Zhvania. Originally premiering in Paris in 1991, the show delights in two acts: the first is a warm tale of discovery, the second brings Georgian folk songs as the bear cub teaches and bids farewell to friends. Suitable for ages 4 and up. Performances are on March 27 and April 24 at the Rustaveli National Theatre, Small Stage. Please use the cloakroom and do not enter with overcoats.
