Hiking in the Truso Valley

A repeat hike through the picturesque Truso Valley.

Participants will enjoy a simple yet very atmospheric route to a sparkling lake with 'rusty' streams and tasty water. Along the way, there are vivid landmarks of the Military Georgian Road. If energy allows, the group can reach the fortress-village of Zakagori (14th century) with picturesque ruins of a citadel on a hilltop above the Terek River.
