Hiking in Juta to Mount Chaukhi

We are starting the highland hiking season with our favorite Juta! The autumn snow has melted, and spring is in Juta!

We will hike to Mount Chaukhi through beautiful alpine highlands! An interesting route featuring a mountain river, springs, a waterfall, and a lake!

Chaukhi is a bicycle mountain with 5 peaks! The route has comfortable rest stops!

Program:
• We will visit all the highlights of the Georgian Military Road
• See stone-carved faces of great Georgian poets and kings by a local renowned sculptor
• Before reaching the village of Juta, we will hike to a waterfall and a glacial lake at the foot of the majestic Mount Chaukhi (Chaukhi massif is about 3300 m above sea level, Kazbegi region)
• On the way, we will stop at the 5 Seasons mountain café-hotel with stunning views, loungers, poufs, and outdoor tables
• Mountain streams and an alpine waterfall await us 💦
• Picnic (each participant brings their own snack; there will be a supermarket stop when leaving the city)
• A picturesque and very atmospheric trip!
