Hiking in the Truso Valley

We are starting the hiking season in the Truso Valley with an updated program.

Most of the snow has already melted, and we will head to the sparkling lake with picturesque spreads and remnants of the marshrut. Along the way, we will see scenic spots and 14th-century historical ruins.

Program:
• We will pass all the notable sites along the military-Georgian road.
• In the valley, after small waterfalls flowing directly from volcanic rock formations.
• Natural attractions include mineral springs and salt deposits in the form of orange dripping salts.
• Picnic in a picturesque spot near the supermarket on the way out of the town of Ostakovka.

Total distance ~18 km, travel time ~5.5 hours. Difficulty: 4 out of 10.

For hiking, comfortable shoes, a head covering, 1 liter of water per person, and a backpack are needed. SPF and head covering are recommended.
