Warm Meeting — Open Dialogue with a Psychologist
Warm Meeting — an open dialogue with a psychologist.
Topic: There are reasons to be joyful.
This is a conversation about psychological resilience, about how to keep the ability to laugh, love, make plans, and notice beauty despite what is happening.
We will discuss:
- why the brain is literally "wired" to notice the negative,
- how constant stress changes our perception of life,
- why many feel guilt when they are well,
- whether it is possible to empathize with others and still preserve yourself,
- how to regain the habit of seeing not only threats but also what gives strength to live.
There will be light networking, clear theory without overload, and practical recommendations from the psychologist.
Participation: ages 30+, order at the cafe.
Reservation of seats by prior registration is recommended (not mandatory).
