The Shape of Tea
Tea is more than just a drink.
The vessel, its weight, texture, and shape—all influence how we experience what’s inside.
On July 5th, we will dedicate a day to exploring this connection through tea and clay.
The event begins with a tea ceremony led by Artem, who will introduce participants to the items that make up the tea service, the role each plays, and how shape and material affect the tea drinking process.
We will also discuss how modern culture continues to reinterpret tea traditions today.
After the ceremony, we will move from observation to hands-on creation.
All materials are provided.
All works will be exhibited free of charge, and participants are invited to return a week later for a free glazing session to complete their pieces.
