Gathering at the Cleanup Site in Green Green

On June 27, at Green Green, climbers from the Rope To Rope team will join a cleanup of a huge illegal dump in the forest between Vanadzor and the village of Pambak in Lori.

We need your help! The more of us there are, the better the chances to clear this place of trash that has accumulated here for years.

This cleanup will be significant and involve many activities. We expect steep terrain, broken glass, trash of unknown origin, hogweed, ticks, and possibly rain. Participants are asked to carefully read the description and equipment requirements.

To reach the trash, we will have to descend a steep slope. The Rope To Rope team will set up a special system to lift bags back up, and we will prepare trails for volunteers to descend and move along the slope.

Work directly on the slope is suitable only for adult volunteers who have participated in similar cleanups and realistically assess their abilities.

If you are not ready to work on the slope, please come anyway. We will need help sorting and loading bags at the top.
