Go up to the National Library observation deck

Walk around the library first to understand its complex geometry and glass reflections, then take the lift to the observation deck near the top of the high-rise book storage. The deck entrance is on the rear side of the building; the view makes the scale of Independence Avenue and the Uschod district particularly clear.

Use the metro to Uschod station. Looking around the exterior is free, while the observation deck charges admission. Current hours and tickets are listed at nlb.by.
