Follow Homyel’s route of unusual city sculptures
Homyel is easy to read through the small city sculptures placed between the railway station and the Sozh. Begin with Suitcase Mood on the station square, continue to the circus and the monument to the clown Karandash with his dog Klyaksa, then cross the centre towards the first settler and lynx sculpture at the Kyiv Descent.
This is a coherent route from the city’s main gateway to the river, not a hunt for random objects. Architecture, street density and atmosphere all change along the way. Allow 1.5–2 hours with stops, and finish on the embankment instead of retracing the same path.
Cost: the route is free.
Tickets: no tickets or registration are required.
