Take a trip to the Museum of Belarusian Folk Art in Raŭbičy
This branch of the National Art Museum occupies the former Krestogorsky Church of St Matthew, built in 1858–1862 and restored after wartime damage. The museum opened here in 1979. Its displays present Belarusian folk art through textiles, ceramics, carved and painted wood, straw and wicker work, while the historic building is an important part of the visit itself.
Allow time both for the collection and for viewing the Gothic Revival exterior. The museum stands within the Raŭbičy sports complex; check current opening hours, admission and access arrangements before travelling.
