Take a trip to the Anastasiya Kupriyanova House Museum
The museum occupies the house where Anastasiya Fominichna Kupriyanova lived. She lost all five of her sons during the Second World War. Soldiers from the unit in which her son Pyotr Kupriyanov had served built the house in 1947; he was posthumously named a Hero of the Soviet Union. Family photographs, documents, letters and biographical materials tell the stories of the mother and her sons.
This is a small memorial display, so confirm opening hours and whether advance booking is required before travelling. Allow about an hour and approach it as a place of personal remembrance rather than an entertainment attraction.
