Take a trip to the ruins of the Tyszkiewicz Palace in Lahojsk
Pius Tyszkiewicz built a two-storey Neoclassical palace at Lahojsk in 1815. The residence became known for its art, archaeological and numismatic collections, while a large park developed around it. The palace itself has not survived: only several tall fragments of brick wall remain on the rise today, not an intact building.
Follow the park paths and view the ruins from a safe distance; the current card photograph shows their actual condition. Do not climb the walls or enter cellars and unstable ground. The walk can be combined with the centre of Lahojsk and the banks of the Hajna.
