Take a trip to St George Church in Zabaloćcie

St George Church was built in 1907 in the village cemetery at Zabaloćcie. The building was originally timber, but its exterior was clad in brick in the 1990s, so the present appearance conceals the original wooden walls. The small active church stands among mature trees and graves.

Treat this as a short and respectful stop rather than a major tourist programme. Do not walk between graves merely to frame a photograph, and never photograph funerals or worshippers without permission. Enter only when the doors are open and no service or funeral ceremony is taking place.
