Visit St Valentine Church

The Catholic community in Smaliavičy was registered in 1996, and St Valentine Church was built between 2000 and 2008 to a design by architect Uladzimir Danilenka. Pointed openings, buttresses and the tall tower above the main facade give the building a Gothic Revival character. This is a modern church rather than an old historic monument.

Begin with the facade and side elevations from publicly accessible ground, then enter when the doors are open. The church is active, so avoid disrupting Mass and do not photograph worshippers without consent. Check service times before visiting.
