Visit St Nicholas Church
The St Nicholas parish in Smaliavičy is documented from 1508, when Prince Konstanty Ostrogski granted land and property to the church. Its old building eventually deteriorated and was replaced in 1909, but that church was closed in 1935 and soon demolished. The present building belongs to the revived parish and should not be mistaken for the church built in 1909.
View the church from publicly accessible ground and enter only when the doors are open. This is an active parish, so keep quiet during services and do not photograph people without permission. Check the current timetable before visiting.
