Take a trip to the Vilejka Reservoir

The Vilejka Reservoir was created on the Viliya in 1974 as the central element of the Vilejka–Minsk water system. It is Belarus's largest artificial body of water, with a shoreline stretching for many kilometres, so the experience depends greatly on the chosen access point. Select an official beach, campsite or recreation base with clear road access instead of navigating to the centre of the water.

Wind and weather can change quickly on the open reservoir, and not every section is suitable for swimming. Park only where permitted, keep forest roads clear, remove all litter and check seasonal fishing rules and fire restrictions before travelling.
