Take a trip to St Nicholas Church in Mikalaŭščyna

The present Church of St Nicholas continues Mikalaŭščyna's parish tradition. Its former wooden church was built in 1876 but dismantled in the early 1960s, so archival photographs of that building do not show what visitors see today. The card now uses a photograph of the existing village church.

Combine the stop with places associated with Jakub Kołas's childhood and the nearby Neman landscape. This is an active church: enter only when the doors are open, keep quiet and do not photograph people without permission. Check the timetable before travelling.
