Visit the Military Glory Museum and vehicle yard
The Museum of Military Glory covers the military history of the Homyel region from early periods to the present, with its strongest focus on the twentieth century and events that took place locally. The indoor display fills eight galleries on two floors, so choose the periods that interest you instead of trying to read every panel.
Outside is a large yard with more than forty pieces of equipment, a medical railway carriage and a reconstructed partisan camp. Allow 1.5–2 hours for a full visit. Some material is emotionally heavy; if visiting with children, decide in advance which galleries and objects are appropriate for them.
Cost: approximately BYN 3–6 depending on visitor category and exhibition; the museum and separate outdoor displays may use different tariffs.
Tickets: at the museum ticket office; confirm the price for each exhibition before paying.
