Meet the squirrels in the palace park

Аллеи дворцового парка

Squirrels have become part of everyday life in the palace park. They are easiest to notice on quiet avenues among mature trees, particularly in the morning and earlier part of the day. There is no need to turn the walk into a quest—move slowly, keep the noise down and watch the trunks and ground around the roots.

Do not catch the animals, bring them close to your face or let children touch them. If park rules allow feeding, bring only a small amount of plain unsalted nuts or seeds with no sugar or additives; bread, sweets and salty food are unsuitable. Even without feeding, this is an enjoyable short stop to combine with Swan Pond and the Sozh embankment.

Cost: walking in the park is free.
Tickets: not required.
