Discover Polesia’s culture at the Vetka Museum branch
The Homyel branch of the Vetka Museum introduces Old Believer culture and the traditions of Belarusian Polesia without a separate trip to Vetka. Its strength lies not only in individual objects but in regional craft traditions: Vetka icon painting, manuscript and early printed books, carving, weaving and embroidery.
The museum is compact, yet the collection rewards close attention, especially the textile patterns and metalwork on icons. Allow 1–1.5 hours. The branch also hosts temporary exhibitions, guided walks and workshops; Monday is normally closed, and the second Tuesday of each month may be a maintenance day.
Cost: current information indicates BYN 10 for adults and BYN 5 for children; ask the museum about concessions.
Tickets: at the branch ticket office; no confirmed official online sales were found.
