Take a trip to Liubča Castle
Construction of Liubča Castle began in 1581, and under the Radziwiłł family in the 17th century its wooden defences gave way to a masonry complex. Two of the four towers and fragments of other castle buildings survive. Since 2003, a charitable foundation, specialists and volunteers have restored the site in stages, so completed sections still stand beside buildings and details under active work.
See the gate tower, courtyard and view over the Neman only within areas open to visitors. Access arrangements and admission charges may change as work progresses, so check them before travelling. Stay outside construction barriers.
