Take a trip to Verdamichy Manor Park
The Tałočka manor house at Verdamichy was built and repeatedly altered during the 19th century, but burned down in 1915. The old landscape park is now the reason to visit: mature trees, fragments of the original layout and overgrown water features preserve the estate's setting. The card photograph shows the present-day park rather than the lost palace depicted by Napoleon Orda.
Do not expect a maintained museum route or surviving interiors. Choose a dry visit in daylight, wear closed footwear and remain on accessible paths without entering farm or service areas. Prepare for tall grass, ticks and insects in summer.
