Take a trip to the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross in Ličycy

The Church of the Exaltation of the Cross was built in 1871 near an older wooden church that was later moved to the cemetery. The stone building stands on raised ground behind a low wall, with a faceted apse, central dome and tall entrance bell tower defining its silhouette. It was reconsecrated after restoration in 1997.

View the church first from the road and gate without entering private land, then go inside only when the doors are open. This is an active village parish, so access depends on service times. Check the route and, if possible, ask the parish about the timetable before travelling.
